This is a pretty lame picture but it's what I see everyday. I tried to match the lines of the shades with the lines of the cars and building but it doesn't work with the building.
When walking up the stairs in the HFAC I saw this and liked the lines and tonal contrast. There is something a little eerie about it.
I spent a lot of time at the cemetery the past few weeks. One of the times I saw this tombstone and liked the weathering on it. I wanted to line it up perfectly in the frame. I really liked how it turned out but I think it's a bit overexposed.
I don't know what I would do without medication and I don't know how I would remember to take it without my pill box. I liked the lines and colors of the box and pills.
The temple is so beautiful and has so much detail. I wanted to show the symmetry and detail. I am not happy with the framing. I wish I would have gone up and to the right a little.
You're such an interesting person Britany! I love seeing your photos, it's like a little glimpse into your mind. =D The gravestone does have a cool pattern on it and I like the rhythm in the pill boxes shot. The Provo temple is super pretty, I love the texture of the stained glass and brick next to each other.
ReplyDeleteAnna that made my day! Thank you!
DeleteI really like your photo in the HFAC. It does seem kind of eerie. I also like the tombstone photo. I think the overexposure adds to the ethereal effect.
ReplyDeleteEven though you wrote that the first picture is lame, I disagree. The diagonal creates a great uneasiness, but then the lines and rhythm of the cars fit so perfectly between the blinds that I can't help but feel like It shouldn't work so well. I get this sense that because everything is framed so well something (a story beyond) is wrong.
